Paper

Every sheet here is hand-pulled, sheet by sheet, from fibre I've prepared myself. If you'd like to see how it's actually made before you buy, read the papermaking story in the Knowledge Base.

Paper is made in batches, not kept in stock: a vat of pulp is worth pulling only once there is enough to pull it for. So sheets are sold in runs. You order now, I make your sheets with everyone else's, and the whole batch goes out together.

Order a sheet, or a stack

Orders close on Friday 25 September 2026, or as soon as 30 orders have been placed — whichever comes first.

Everything ordered in this run is made, dried and sent by Saturday 31 October 2026. The smallest order is 5 sheets, in any mix of sizes.

— of 30 orders placed

Every sheet is formed, pressed and dried by hand from reclaimed paper and found plant material, so weight, deckle and inclusion vary from sheet to sheet. The photographs show the run rather than the exact sheet you will receive — that variation is what the process makes, not a fault in it.

Something else in mind?

The four sizes above are what this run is set up to make, but the mould is not the limit — larger sheets, a particular fibre or colour, a specific deckle, or a quantity past what the form takes. Tell me roughly what you are after and I will come back with what is possible and what it would cost. Custom work sits outside the run, so it is not bound by the 25 September date.

* One of these is required — everything else helps, but none of it is compulsory.
