Seized at ice lake
Description:
During my time in Ngawal, I learnt about my limits. I came up with the phrase:
note
The best part of a mountain is half way up. Up above you can see your dreams at risk and down below you can see your trials.
It may not always be worth climbing to the top of the mountain. In fact it is often not, it may be better to measure yourself to endure a midway climb for multiple days.
Whilst drawing references from my photos in Ngawal and using Goya's, The snowstorm, I comment on what got me into trouble by climbing an additional 1000m to 6400m above sea level to just look at ice lake.
